About Jamie
Jamie Gutfreund is a globally recognized leader and marketing pro with a 20+ year track record. Throughout her career, she has helped brands anticipate cultural and technological shifts and act on them; not just talk about them.
As the creator economy has become a business imperative, Jamie has been at the forefront leading initiatives at both Hasbro and MGA Entertainment. As Chief Growth Officer, she played a vital role in establishing Whalar as a globally respected creator economy agency working with clients including Google, Microsoft, Spotify, Zappos, the NFL, and Amazon.
Under her leadership, Whalar became AdWeek's Creator Agency of the Year, AdAge's A-List, and one of Fast Company Most Innovative Companies. Jamie launched the first Creator Academy with Logitech, established the inaugural Creator Council for the AdCouncil, and hosted the "Everything is Better with Creators" podcast.
Jamie thrives in new spaces, exemplified by creating one of the first branded ROBLOX games. She spearheaded the restructuring of marketplace & DTC e-commerce efforts for Hasbro and MGA, netting a six-fold increase in conversion rates. And she invented a virtual influencer for TikTok.
Jamie began her career with Microsoft, where she produced original content and secured revenue from brands venturing into digital advertising for the first time. At Creative Artists Agency, she built a consulting practice with a focus on millennial and Gen Z consumers.
